The design itself has helped significantly reduce vibration by as much as 20% and is much quieter than the competition, in most cases by 2 to 1. The speed control dial is highly intuitive with a variable speed of 1,600 – 5,800 OPM and 150 – 670 RPM. The variable speed is great for users looking to be able to match the speed of the sander with the specific task.
The B06040 is highly compact with a tool height of only 5-3/6”. This makes it very maneuverable as users will see a noticeable difference when sanding in those hard to reach areas. It also features a built-in dust port and a very efficient through the pad dust collection system.
