The JET 62900K drum sander comes out of the box with a dual drum sander along with a very sturdy stand. In the box, you’ll get the sander, stand, abrasives, and one TurfTool. This will be all you need, and the set-up time will have you up and running in no time at all.
The 629004K drum sander features a 1 ½-HP motor which is more than enough to small and medium sized projects. The smooth operating conveyor supports stock up to 32” wide on the 16-32 drum. The second drum is a 5 x 16” extruded aluminum drum and is self-cooling which helps reduce machine overload. This lightweight construction is much heavier than it looks as the stand and construction is extremely heavy-duty.
The conveyor and adjusting on the tracking system is precise and very easy. With only 1 turn, you can either dial up or down in 1/16” increments which demonstrates extreme precision.
